Stef 9 years agoI received a call as well. Saying they had a $9,000 grant from the government. I said I assumed it was a scam and asked for the phone number from the office in the government he was calling from to confirm it wasn\'t a scam. He denied and then gave me my name and phone number. I explained I know my information I want theirs so I can call to confirm. He started yelling and cursing. Ending with \"Shut the F*** up it\'s your loss.\" I am not sure how to report it. But it wouldn\'t matter anyway. I\'m sure this number isn\'t actually linked to the people scamming just a cover. (0)

JT 9 years agoHuge scam, They try saying they give 9,000 dollars from the Government because you have clean criminal record and pay taxes on time, they say its once in a life time selection. They try talking about your banking account,I refused it and asked to receive it by mail. The guy dodges the question, than suddenly act like he dont know english anymore than says he will transport you to a \"Supervisor\"... Which is guy with a less of a accent that just repeats the exact same stuff, and than I say I would want to only receive by Check in the mail. He quickly says have a nice day and hangs up.... I warn anyone who receives these calls to NEVER give any information over the phone, I\'ve heard these guy call for money saying their the ISS. I never get talked into give my information. I don\'t know how to FLAG this number or CALL police! but these guys need to be locked up!
