Helen 7 years agoI got a poor quality message from this number, a robotic male voice saying they are from the Canada Revenue Agency and there is a file under my name, they request me to call them back, if not, an arrest warranty will be made to my name and they will have me arrested. Panicked, I called back the number and told them my name, address, and postal code. The person who answered the phone said they are checking my postal code, and the call got disconnected after a few minutes of me waiting. I called back a few more times, there weren\'t any ringing, the call got connected immediately but there is no sound on the other end. I suddenly realized this might be a scam call and I called the actual Canada Revenue Agency to check on my application status. They informed me that they will never threaten people, rather they will send out letters if there is any problem. (My application came out fine btw)
