tired of scammers 11 years agoreceived a call from 481-617-7888 saying they were IRS and filing suit. they said to call 206-973-3241. other posts referenced to the 206 number. I am listing the 481 number as a cross reference.
this is a scam and will steal your money - do not call them and do not worry, the IRS will contact you by mail.(2)

VM 11 years agothis is a scam. I got a message the IRS (Internal Revenue ServiceS) was about to file a lawsuit and I needed to call this number right away. When I called, the person on the other end said he was from the investigations department and that I owed the IRS money. I stated I did not and was a former IRS employee and that the message mis-identified the IRS. the real IRS would never do this. Also, the real IRS would never inform a taxpayer of impending lawsuit via message. It will always be in writing.(1)
